It's Time to Fight Back

The Campaign Against Hate was born out of urgent necessity in 2022, well before the tragic events of October 7th.

Its origins trace back to San Diego, where a local Democratic Party endorsement was given to a candidate with a troubling record of supporting the BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanction) movement and spreading antisemitic rhetoric.

This candidate’s push to Defund the Police posed a broader threat, not only to the Jewish community, but to public safety across the region. Alarmed by this growing extremism, political consultant Jared Sclar joined forces with concerned community members to form “San Diegans Against Hate,” a grassroots effort to inform voters and confront dangerous ideologies.

With just $37,000 and the support of local business and civic leaders, they mounted a successful campaign that proved the power of local action in the face of well-funded opposition. This victory became the blueprint for a broader effort, laying the foundation for a national movement to empower communities to stand up against hate.

Hate is on the Rise.
We are the Response.

Hate crimes are at an all-time high. This isn't a distant or abstract problem, it is one that manifests in local communities, affecting local elections and policies. The more overheated rhetoric we hear from local activists, elected officials, and groups, the more violent incidents against Jews occur domestically.

We have seen this time and again, and we need to put a stop to it now.

We believe in the power of local action. The National Campaign Against Hate serves as a central hub, providing resources, expertise, and a network of support to independent, locally-led anti-hate PACs across the nation. We equip them to fight hate effectively in their own backyards.

If we don't invest early in defeating dangerous candidates when they run for local office, it will cost much more later to prevent them from gaining higher office.

The Time to
Act is Now

Antisemitic movements and the candidates they support are unfortunately gaining ground, and we know the dangerous rhetoric they spew puts our communities at risk.

We need your support now more than ever to beat these dangerous movements back. Every dollar helps us win another election and keep dangerous people out of office. There are dozens of target races across the country that require our investment now.

About Us

We are the Campaign Against Hate—a dedicated coalition of experienced political strategists, civic leaders, and impassioned activists. We are united by a profound sense of urgency and a shared resolve: we will not stand by while individuals who promote hateful ideologies gain positions of power and influence in our communities.

For too long, we have witnessed how extremist rhetoric, particularly antisemitism, can poison public discourse and incite real-world violence against the Jewish community and other targeted groups. The rise of such hate is not an abstract threat; it has tangible, devastating consequences, and its normalization in political spheres poses a direct danger to the safety, security, and values we hold dear.

These hateful actors are not just opposed to Jews; they aim to dismantle and unravel Western Civilization as a whole.

The Campaign Against Hate was born from the conviction that proactive, strategic, early, and local intervention is essential. We are done seeing those who champion division and espouse dangerous, hateful views achieve endorsements, win elections, and use their platforms to further agendas that endanger our communities.

Our Mission

Our Mission is Clear: To actively confront and counter hate, extremism, and antisemitism at every level of politics.

We are committed to providing the resources, expertise, and network necessary for local communities to effectively organize and respond to these threats locally.

Drawing on proven strategies and a deep understanding of the political landscape, we empower local leaders to protect their communities from the insidious creep of hate into public office.

This isn't just a campaign; it's a necessary defense of the tolerant, inclusive society we strive to be. We must campaign like our lives at our risk; because in many cases, they are.

Our Model

A National Network of
Local Defenders

So far, local activists in five states have officially formed groups locally to raise and spend funds to defeat antisemitic candidates.

Check our network of existing local partners to find an anti-hate PAC in your community. If none exist where you are, use the form at the bottom of this page to contact us, and we'll help you form a local affiliate group in your home area.

The Nodes
Strategic Concept

Each local group (currently there are five and growing) operate independently, but are nodes in our strategic national plan to Campaign Against Hate.

Resources flow from our National organization to these local groups to ensure local activists lead the anti-hate efforts in their own communities.

What We Provide
to Local PACs

Doctor Handshake Patient

No-cost strategic guidance, legal and compliance support, relationships with vendors for ultra-low cost campaign services, and a national network of fellow like-minded activists.

Our goal is to raise money across the country in order to fund local efforts from local individuals who have identified areas of concern.

Our Impact

Making a Difference:
How We're Fighting Hate.

We are the first line of defense. We raise and spend political money at the national level to provide resources in local communities to prevent the next generation of Ilhan Omars, Rashida Tlaibs and Jamaal Bowmans from ever establishing a platform from which they can achieve national prominence.

VOTES

How a Local Election Was Won, Sparking a National Movement.

The Issue

We have elected officials and candidates across the country running for local and municipal offices who espouse hateful, dangerous ideologies that inflame tensions and lead to directly to violence against Jews domestically. These individuals are using municipal offices to gain a following in order to run for higher offices like the U.S. Congress, and there is no coordinated national network to prevent this from occurring, (until now).

Our Actions

We’ve strategically deployed our resources to shape outcomes in key elections—using voter surveys to guide our messaging, and delivering that message through targeted direct mail, digital ads, and direct-to-voter text campaigns. These efforts have directly influenced election results in our favor.

The Results

We and our partners have been active in local races across the country—winning the majority of the contests we’ve engaged in, sometimes by margins as slim as 11 votes. Our track record speaks for itself, and with so many critical races demanding our attention, we need your support now more than ever.
